Super Yacht 'A'

Russian Super Yacht 'A' came to New Zealand for a refit.

North Shore Scaffolding was commissioned to install scaffolding to allow paintwork on 2/3's of the hull. This included touch-free scaffolding over the massive stern section of the yacht. Using Layher Scaffolding enabled North Shore Scaffolding to cantilever and tiered level the scaffold for clear access for the painters. The side of the yacht was 7m from deckside to sea level. The Scaffold was hung from the decks down to water lever to allow access for painters.

The painters were a specialised team flown in from Europe so any delays would cost the project.
