City Rail Link (CRL)

We’re the principal scaffolding supplier across every stage of Auckland’s City Rail Link — from gutting and rebuilding the historic Central Post Office to extending the tunnels from Britomart, under the CPO and lower Queen Street, and up along Albert Street.

When the contractor on stage two was let down by the original scaffolding company, we were recommended on the strength of our stage-one work. We completed stage two and were invited to carry on through the next two stages.

These civil works have demanded a wide range of specialist scaffolding, and we have many scaffolders qualified and experienced in it: confined spaces, hanging scaffolds and stair accesses, wailer walkways, edge protection, standard and Layher Allround heavy-duty propping, access scaffolds, noise curtains, mobile scaffolds large and small, and mobile “turtle” units for containing ground-level concrete cutting.

We overlay every client’s health and safety requirements with our own app-based H&S system, which gives real-time updates to both our management and the client. It’s that combination — technical range plus an unwavering safety commitment — that keeps us on New Zealand’s biggest civil projects.
